I got myself some snow foam wash recently and I'm having a few issues with using it. My pressure washer seems to dilute it with too much water. It has a power setting but even on the slowest it still seems too thin. Another thing is the soap I have seems to remove a lot of the wax I have applied. I use a Dodo Juice Hard Candy wax and after I use the snow foam, the paint feels stripped of the coat. Can anyone advise me on this?

Is there not a little valve on the lance itself? Other than the power one?

which Snow Foam do you have?

I use this > http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/snow-foam/ultimate-snow-foam-5-litres.aspx

Should not strip the wax, but occasionaly I get it in my head that it is and hence I don't use it every wash (especially in summer).

Be good to get Rich's input on this.

This is the one I use:

Just reading it, looks like it is a traffic film remover

Right, it sounds to me as if you are using the detergent tank on a pressure washer to create the snow foam? If so, you can't - it's useless. You need to use a proper snow foam lance.

The link you posted is PH Neutral and is LSP safe - if you are using their combo one though, this will strip wax.

However, all snow foams are a loose derivative of TFR anyway, so used at the wrong strength will have the ability to start stripping wax. And if not used through a proper foam lance, won't activate the foam boosters in them and therefore just come out like water still.
