You know how when you put the seat forward it folds over *sort of *.... well it's stuck in thst position, whats the best way to free it up....

Take the plastic covers off the seat catches at the bottom where it folds & check if anything is stuck in the mechanism
try pulling the seat release lever at the same time to see what its doing

the cable for lifting the seats up on mk4's are common for coming off, check its still attached
