my c20xe corsa used to have a really bad idle all the time and when i dipped the clutch it would nearly stall and then rev itself to about 1500 so i unplugged the cts and the insulation that covers the wiring had come away so i cable tied it on and then when i started it later from cold the idle was miles better until it warmed up and then started having its revving fits again so new cts i presume?

sounds like the idle control valve is goosed
