The lad that bought it didn't realise the car was that expensive to run. He thought it would be on par with his old ep3 type r lol.

I'm actually liking the astra the now but if someone offered me the right money I'd sell it.

Still really fancy an e46 m3 and there goin silly cheap now.

I'd love an Evo, but every person I know who has had an Evo has sold it because it's so expensive to run. I think my cars expensive to run but the way they go on about it makes me think twice lol.

What's so expensive about Evo's? Are they generally more costly than Subaru's?

What sort of MPG did you get out of that?

It depends a lot on how you drive and how often you boot it..

I drive my S15 every day..but as my speedo doesnt work I dont know exactly how many miles I do..but after working it out on a distance calculater site I think I do on average about 80 miles a week? I normaly put in £25 of Shell V-power so at £1.22 a lite thatd about 18 odd mpg I think?

Not good! and thats driving sensible below 3k all the time and mainly off boost..I do have a decat and some fat 3" system though..its running quite rich..but hopefuly a remap will sort out my mpg

Nothing to do with the fact a decent MR EVO would rape your bogey machine?

That's a username I haven't seen in a while, your old Corsa has disappeared off my radar - no longer know where it is.

Anyway, sounds like similar mpg to me I can get anything in the region of 16-24 mpg

Well my MPS doesn't get used everyday anyway, but it's still a damn expensive car to run, mainly cause of the way I drive it so I can imagine an Evo is just as bad/worse lol
