Been looking for a chipped ecu or a chip for my ecu...

Had a look on ebay,a couple of the sellers seem genuine with good gains described but not sure...

Anyone used them or what ones have you used/use?

Its a coilpack engine with piper fast road cams 270's

I reckon its reving to 7100 maybe 7200 the way it is the now (going by the rev counter)

The cams have still to be set up along with a better flowing system and a bigger bore manifold so i want a chip to go along with these...

wallace performance (aberdeen) are around £250. or if you want to go closer to home falkland performance (in glenrothes) qouted me £290fitted.

Standard limiter is 6800 so your clocks must be out if your on a standard Ecu.

Only "chip" ive heard reviews about are the GrpN jobbies.

Wouldnt it rev past the limiter on those cams?

No,its the Ecu that controls the rev limiter.

Are standard XE fuel pressure regs 3 bar?

Early had creams with 2.5bar FPR and late had blues with 3bar FPR.

Maybe the ecu is chipped already.

Think its probably my rev counter mate as it hasnt worked properly since the engine was fitted tbh
