Winning bidder on my phone on eBay has 0 feedback. This usually would not bother me but it's a phone which means I'm probably likely to be conned.

Do I risk sending it? Special delivery so has to be signed for? I stupidly didn't specify that i wouldn't take bids from people with no feedback.

Anyone any ideas? It's going to Sheffield not nigeria so I guess it could be gen?

Only send it if his paypal address is a verified one.

I made this mistake in the past and i sent the phone.

even though i had the tracking number that said it was signed for he said he never got it and paypal refunded him the money.

I ended up over £300 out of pocket.

As I said usuay wouldn't be bothered but it's a phone and a £300 risk to which I'm open to raping. Just not worth the risk IMO

I will tell him he can jog on and refund him. His paypal name is David but eBay username is Leebold?

Wouldn't have stopped him if you'd wrote no 0 feedback on the ad would it.

Fro is right tho, as long as you send it to a verified paypal address then you're all covered supposedly.

Tbf, in college I used my mum's eBay account and PayPal had my dad's name on, then I usually asked them to address it to me

transfer the money into your bank to clear before you send, take pictures of the item with a dated paper by them before you send, working order etc, then if anything comes up, you have proof of condition, postage and delivery

No you can't. -1 is the best you can choose, or there is an option to block people with 5 or less feedback bidding who don't have a credit card on file.
