Finally got round to fitting my AP coilovers the other day. Fitted them up with brand new OEM top mounts and barings and had it all tracked at Chemix. Naturally, I had to get some pics at a prime spot! This is perfect height for me atm but I may go lower later on but it need to be used daily so cant go OTT. Comments welcome

Love this!

Just see no reason for it to be there, stands out like a sore thumb, just feel id walk past it and say "what a lovely looking car, bar that stupid sticker"

I hate my AP's, I got a good price on mine but if I had my time again I'd settle for the Weitec spring and shock setup. The AP's are far too harsh on the rebound side. They are ace on smooth roads but when you find a bumpy patch or a rippled road I can be out the seat

Cheers for all the comments. The ride is pretty good to be fair. Its always been a stiff ride but now it just feel's a lot more solid and gripped into the road.

Haha cheers Ben, photographed outside Kidderminister town hall

You don't think? Besides, it's not the kind of car I want scraping up the road. To me, that'd look shit and daft.

Yeah looks marginally lower looking at that, I'd want it a bit more if I forked out on coilies but that's personal preference Wheels look alot better in that colour!

Yeh a few people have said that and to an extent, I agree. I could've got the same height with some cheap piss springs and saved myself £400 but the car has been maintained to a very high standard and I'm not into scrimping and comprimised so rebuilt all barings and bushes and had a shit hot geometry set up to keep the car A1.

Would rather spend a few more pennies to get things spot on than save money and have shit knocking and wobbling around!

Fair comment, as I said it's not everyones cup of tea to have a low car, but I just think a bit lower might look better without it being too inconvenient, and AP's are good so will still handle

They are good cars, just need a diff I thought!
