Right i have just put a vx performance inlet manifold on my x16xe but still want a bit more kick i have just found this on ebay >>>> http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-Corsa-B-Tigra-C16XE-X16XE-ASTRA-CHIPTUNING-/120632251898?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c163e15fa#ht_500wt_1156
Right basicly what i want to know is when fitting one of these would i have to uprate the rod bolts cause it says that it bumps up the rev limit to 7000rpm and i was told by a friend of mine that if the rev limit has been raised you have to put ARP rod bolts on.
Would i get away with not using arp rod bolts or should i just not bother with it ???
Has anyone else purchased and fitted one on here if so did it make much difference and did you uprate the rod bolts ???
If anyone could help me out with this one your help would be very much appreciated
Many thanks
Joe

162Nm is a ridiculous claim. I'm thinking this is just a resistor chip mate, probably not worth the hassle.

Isn't the rev limit already 7000rpm on x16xe's?

no rev limit is set to 6800 on x16xes this is basically a superchip :S i'd rather get a proper one though
