the inevitable has happened and the navara has had an engine failure

anyone know of any good nissan breakers yards to try and get a 2nd hand engine

other option is a rebuild with the parts costing £1400

Why are they so prone to failing? My uncle has had one for about 7 years and its been pretty bombproof, goes on building sites and up motorways?

lol it's sound. The cunt I used to work with has one of these in white, they're cracking looking things and I got a lift in it once up to his farm - he's had it remapped and the thing goes like shite off a shovel.

When i was working at Parks we were doing a lot of navara's that were out of warranty under warranty as its been such a common fault.
Contact nissan uk and give them the downlow.
If they dont pay it all they should give a goodwill contirbution.

You can get all uprated parts for them, if you have caught it early you will be ok. There is a chap on the us forum who has done a really good how to and has all the parts ready to ship to the uk.
