hi all..

Ive got a really crap tattoo on my back, its like a tiny palm tree type thing.
Asked about cover-ups etc at a few local tattoo shops, however, they think it would be better to "transform" it into something else

ie: add a few lines here and there to turn it into something else.

I scanned it, posterised it, played with it on p/s for hours.. and cant see anything other than a sodding palm tree.
printed it, took it into work... the best suggestion was a tomato.

Recon anyone here could make something of it?.

Or even ideas and i could do it myself then.
Cheers

er well what do you actually want, any half decent artist could cover/add to it, kind of need an idea what you actually want though?

bit pointless just getting a tat for the sake of it fitting in with a previous design

Ive looked into full cover-ups... but im lead to believe the ink coverage is a lot thicker and after years, it will merge into one splodge, so trying to avoid that... But its always an option.

something like:

if i could merge it to the existing tat better.

or generally extended in a tribal style.

Why not just get lazer surgery to remove it and start from fresh?

Thats what i'd do.

laser surgery doesnt work in one seating.. It usually takes 4-5. And then its still scarred.

You ever had the laser? It's more painfully than a tattoo! Fucking rediculous and you have to have more than 1 session.

There is a new removal technique out tho which is the same as tattooing but a special ink Is used which gets rid of the ink.

na as long as you get something to cover it with black or dark colours it will be alright, ive seen plenty of tats covered looking a lot worse than that.

Ive found a photo of what i would like, tried to replicate it myself..
Would anyone be able to enhance the photo/ save it to a decent sized file?

Heres my attempt:

I printed out the pic, the traced over it

If someone could edit it so the wings are lower down (would fill across my shoulders - instead of upto my neck)
As the body of the 'eagle' would need to cover my current tattoo.

Would obviously pay for time spent doing so.
