Sorry if I'm a little behind on this but I've just noticed the insurance group change???
When was this implemented and does this mean insurance will go up?
My Civic used to be IG 17 now it's IG 34

I only noticed this today as well... I always look on Parkers at insurance groups for cars i can afford to insure then noticed something was IG 30! I thought they'd put the MPG in the wrong place at first

Mines 34 out of 50. Considering it used to be 17 out of 20 I'd say I'm better off?

Insurance group is the main factor to insurance companys hence in the name: "INSURANCE group"

Surley a sign of it being rare, haynes don't even make a manual for it, thats how special this car is

I would go with this, my 350z was coming out cheaper than cars a lot lower in the insurance categories

They don't list shit cars TBH.
I never look at the insurance group of cars as it means nothing in my experience. Only way to find out if its going to be expensive or not is to get quotes.

Is that because both are built from the parts bin?
