How can you have 4 pots but not know they're better than single pistons brakes?
What size are they?

Obviously they'll be better though
I'm just saying, how would you get into the position of deciding to buy them (most probably spending what, £2-300?) and not know they're better than some £50 2.0 setup? Unless he's been given them/ found them in his family's loft.

It would have been wiser to ask before buying.
Yes, significantly better.

You owe your mate a pint, as long as they fit under your wheels they're beter than the 2.0 all day long.
Think it needs to be 16s with them, or some large inside diameter 15s with a bit of trimming.

I had these on my old Corsa. No problems fitting under 15's, no trimming or anything needed.

They're good brakes, stop very well compared to my other Corsa that had 2.0 brakes. Although i did have rear disks too. The pads they use are off a Volvo of some sort if you need to change them for future reference.

Not a huge fan of the quality, 90% of the kits I have driven are poor pedal feel and just don't inspire confidence! Never driven a Subaru kit tho

I'm of the understanding that the range of pads available for these are very limited which is the reason I've never been a fan.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
I would rather a set of wilwoods.

Had them on my old track corsa(s)
300mm 4 pots with Mintex 1155 pads.
There worked very well on track.
SMCGSI16V - I wouldnt worry about pads, they have decent coverage.

Had them on my old Pulsar but dont know if i liked them or not. They had red-stuff pads fitted so that could be the reason but they had no pedal feel to them and they werent very sharp feeling.Didnt give that oomph when stamping on them and even on track they didnt feel very inspiring.Never faded though so thats a good thing.
I dont know much about 4pots etc so could maybe have just been the pads. Were lethal when cold too.

sounds like it could be the pads...
I'd never fit EBC to any of our cars

Yeah im not a fan of them either tbh.Ive even bought cars that have had them fitted and changed them straight away for OEM.
At the time i didnt really know much about brakes and 4pots so didnt think nothing of it or looked into it.
