Sod having a wooden pre-fab with a grass roof. I don't care how well engineered it is, I like bricks, mortar and steel.

£65,000 for that wooden thing? It looks like a Romany Caravan but without it's own wheels.

i think there's some bending of the truth there. Saying that, only a 3rd of the house seems to be finished the rest seems to be a bit of a mess.

Yeah but the bending of the truth was '£2k left', I think he obviously had the motorhome left, his boat etc.

No-one in the World has only their bank balance, they have other saleable assets that perhaps they don't want to part with but push comes to shove they will do. My shares are my best example, they are worth a substantial amount but they increase my annual income via dividends so I don't want to sell them, especially as I don't pay into a pension but if push came to shove they are there.

Just seen this. We priced to design this house. Put in a high price as could see it was going to be one of those jobs that was a ball ache if we did get it.

i just watched a couple on more 4.

one was some hippy wood house with an oak tree inside with stairs around it.

the other was the one in london with shrubbery on the roof.

strange fuckers. the 2nd one looked so out of place compared to all the old fashioned london houses
