Had both. I prefered the S-Drives. Would normally always pick yoko over toyo.

Had S-Drives on the corsa when i had it and seemed to hold up well enough and lasted long too. Have the proxies on my ibiza and would say they decent too although dont have much faith in the wet with them

Just get the Rainsports mate, you'll be disappointed if you try something new and it's not as good. Unless you get EF1s, can't get any better in my experience.

Aye mate, reason why I didn't just tell you to go for them. About £80 a corner iirc

Worth it though IMO, I've had toyo Proxes T1R, Proxes 4, and Yokohama Paradas. The EF1 are miles better in every way.

Agreed, I've had pirelli p6000s, T1-S, Proxies 4s, Rainsports and EF1s.

F1s are immense, closely followed by the Rainsports.

I had P6000 but they were worse than budgets, only had them on for about 1000 miles before they got taken off for the EF1s. I found the Paradas very good, reasonable at £47 a corner too.

It's weird you say that, I was just comparing them to budgets in this thread in help zone http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=580961

The Admirals I had felt like those plastic tyres that drift RC cars come with.

they really are poor, in the wet I would have rather fitted full slicks.

I wanted the uniroyals for the civic but they're on back order everywhere in my size

Settled for some cheap Avon zz3's instead. They're not too bad actually now they've worn in

Proxes 4 are awful tyres, never any grip and wear out insanely quickly. S-drives on the other hand are the complete opposite.

Had S-drive son my old Corsa for roughly 6000 miles, bought with the wheels as nearly new, still had tons of tread left when I sold the car. The Toyo's were 2 weeks old on my C when I bought it in January and had to get them changed in May as the insides were going bald.
