Definately a Saxo, might be on TB's or some high spec NA engine as a Supercharged or Turbo 16v would destroy a Corsa VXR, definately not either of them. That was as quick if not a little quicker.

Tbh, a VTS on TB's (If about 160bhp) would probably pull on a VXR.

Well it deffo had an induction kit of some kind. Not sure on the weight difference of either. Plus, you don't know how many people were in each car etc.

That'll be flywheel power. But the Saxo definitley wasn't standard. A VXR would leave one for dead in a straight line.

Rev limit on the Saxo sounds to be raised, I'm going with TB's, shame we will probably never find out

a standard 16v engine is no more than 125 bhp and they weigh around 850kg as standard, no idea what that had done or how many people in each car as said.

I'm not sure if the limiter had been raised or not tbh. 7,400rpm is quite high as standard Does not sound standard though.

My mates TB'd VTS was really quick, think it was around 180bhp. I've never been in a Corsa VXR though so I cant compare the two.

Having had the XSI which was quicker than a GTi (going by the couple I left), and my bro having the VXR, the VXR will be noticeable quicker after 70. Standard of course

I'd be very disapointed if that was a stock VXR and that was a Saxo on ITB's.

having owned a saxo VTS and my gf currently owning a corsa vxr i would say the corsa is faster, not sure from standing but deffo pulls harder in the vxr imo. That saxo must have some engine mods

Yeah the VXR will be faster in just about every circumstance as standard, but it's carrying quite a bit of weight so start doing some proper tuning to the VTS and it will start to match the pace of the VXR.
