Have to admit the speed of the VR has surprised me in what it can keep with once moving.

Around 170-180 (depending on whether its OBD1 or OBD2) . Rados are about 190 as they're 2.9 iirc.

about the same as an xe corsa over 1/4 i think.

I say just shy of 200bhp to people as I have bmc + cat back magnex, suits me.

I will stick with most cars comment. I know some cars are faster. but most cars on my journeys etc. its the local gtr and m3 that annoy me lol

A corrado VR6 is as quick as a Corsa XE? Just because I find CTRs most closely matches the corsas performance, I raced one at Crail and the dick beat me by 0.007 secs

raced an old Astra gte and only edged past quite slowly. Corrado was a bit faster top end but to be expected with the bigger engine size. probably better mpg in the arts

How is a Civic Type R of average performance? Considering the majority of 'average' cars have an engine smaller than say 2L and aren't performance cars I'd say it's quite above average.

I get quite annoyed when people on here say that XE corsas, type Rs, 182s etc. "aren't really that fast" when compared to the cars that most people have (mid range hatches and saloons) these will all but piss all over them. Just because people come on here and look at pictures of fast BMs, Porsches, Ferraris etc they think that anything with a 0-60 more than 5 secs is slow.
