My mate worked at Halfords and made a set up for himself.
Wether you get someone with the common sense/willingness to make you a set.

They don't have 3/4 size acrylics so have to be hand cut (bodged) why I haven't got one from there plus £13.99 delivered from fanyplates

Yes they are indeed, mine is smaller than 3/4 I have had them on both VXR and never had an issue because I don't drive around like a chav.

I wanted to put the 3/4 on the A3 but the Audi dealer screwed my numberplate on rather than using sticky pads so I'll have a couple of holes on show if I do

Is it points now for small numberplates or not?

Just ordered one from fancy plates too, noticed they only do front plates though. Least of coppers are behind you they'll see a normal plate

I ordered from fancyplates, but not the 3/4 size, its the same height as the 3/4 plate but as long as the standard size plate. Fills a corsa front recess better

Thats it. They aren't likely to turn around and come after you if you drive past going the other way and if they are behind you they wont be able to see you have a small front plate.

I had mine on for at least 2 years, driven daily all over the spot and never had any problems about it in all that time. No guarantee though.
