I've never liked them since they quoted me £1000 more than Brentacre did on my insurance

Agreed. They've fucked me a couple of times and I say I'll never go back, but they're always cheaper by quite a margin.

Utter shite.
Astra insurance is up next month and it's with Admiral, I want to move over to Competition Car Insurance for some track cover or HIC who include free track cover (yeah right) but I'm sure it's HIC who underwrite Flux cover, although Brentacre are the same and they are quite good. Might be time to go back to Brentacre see if they can get my track cover.

HIC are only a broker Olly, so I'd be surprised if they offer track cover on every policy. I've had three years cover with them so far, and been underwritten by two different companies - Ensign and NIG.
For the same reason, I don't see how HIC can underwrite Flux?

You sure Tom? I'm sure Flux & Brentacre are underwritten by HIC?
When I was with Brentacre my insurance certificates would have HIC on them.

HIC are definitely brokers, but I'm not sure whether they underwrite anybody else.
Have a read here:

Good for quote, but 'touch wood' I never have to ring them up for a claim or anything else. I know far too many people who have been fucked over by them

So I didnt really want to use the said company but did due to having no other option. When another option is available I'll be taking it.

They were about twice the price of some other places for me.
Heard some people saved quite a bit of money with them, but never came close for me for some reason.
