I bought a laptop last year (october) and had to send it for repairs in february.

Now it has same problem. Would i have new waranty (at least for that compnonent that got replaced) from february of it wouldnt have been renewed and has run out in october?

really annoyed at this and i need my laptop for uni so can't send it for repairs atm

It'll still be the same original 1 year warranty, but kick up a fuss to the retailer and get it fixed again, for free. That, or they have to give you some money back/store credit towards a new laptop.

Is this a HP or Compaq laptop out of interest?

the part should come with a years warranty, check with the manufacturer

It's acer.

Thing is my dads Acer is 6 yrs old now and all it needed is a new screen after 5 years of working pretty much 24/7.

doing uni projects now so can't send it for repairs. might get a PC again in summer if this continues.

and i get this Warning in the admin tools/services.

Had exactly same last year and it was doing it once a day and withing a week i had no wireless at all.
