Right as some of you will know i know have a Seat Ibiza turbo i was talking to my mate today and he said it should always be run on super unleaded as there is something they put it it to stop a build up of crap in the engine and also to keep everything lubricated well.
I know high performance cars should be run on it but would i see any benefit running mine on it?

The reasons your mate has given you are a load of crap. It will run perfectly well on 95 RON unleaded. 98 and 99 RON fuels have a higher resistance to detonation so are great for high boost or high compression applications, or if you live up a very very tall mountain. It wont lubricate your engine more, that's what engine oil is for it might keep your engine internals cleaner if you believe the marketing blurb for products like Ultimate and Optimax though.
