In response to demand for local adverts, those of you using Location Services will now see a 'Within xx miles' box on the right side of the screen.

This should increase the capability of people to deal directly with members face to face, reducing the likelyhood of delays and disputes.

Obviously all precautions relating to personal safety still apply.

Can you see how you get on with it, feedback welcome.

Danny do you moderate the Scotland section? Should delete adverts in there if you can...

Agree with deleting the older adverts.

Or locking them so only admin/the creator can reply, as some poeple may forget they have a thread up then come to bump it but it's gone. (which is admittedly their own fault )

Closing an advert is a matter for the seller, no plans to give that massive job to the staff.

That seems loads better, I agree with the earlier post. only thing that needs sorting now in classifieds are people Not putting a base price/pics or more info in posts...and the fact when items are sold they're never deleted

I know my van for sale doesnt have pics but im putting new ones up today

Any chance of making it compulsory to put a postcode in when selling an item/car?
