if its any help i think the other colour may have been gold but im sure there was loads of colours.

Red and blue were the origional. Then yellow. Gold came a bit after along with silver (IIRC i got bored of pokemon after yellow)

'Fire Red' is an updated version of 'Red', Why not get that instead? also you could just emulate any of the games on your computer instead of going to the expense of buying it?

EMULATE, cracking idea, cheers. Might give that a crack. I want the originals, thanks for the information on the fire red though, what's been updated though? Is it for the DS or something?

On your 1st point i couldnt tell you tbh, but Fire red is meant to be much better as its a more evolved version of the game... was released years ago though so i Cant remember!
