Ahoy, so me and five guys from work are heading for Manchester next weekend, will be out the Friday and Saturday nights, but can anyone name me some good nightspots worth a visit? Will also be going Old Trafford to catch United v Blackburn, but yeah, any good stuff to get up to during the day in Manc?
Suggestions welcome, ta.

Went to Sound Control the other week, was a night in the basement, was a nice little venue. More of an underground feel though, nothing posh.

My preference is Indie but you don't get a lot of that round my area, used to all the regular club music you get though , so yeah, we'll roll with whatever.

Ta lads, what sort of venue is it?
Sound Control sounds up my street, will try and give that NQ and The Printworks a visit. My mate keeps mentioning a Tiger Tiger, any good?

Tiger Tiger is wank imo, if you're into indie-ish type of stuff head to Northern Quarter.

I hear the Claremont pub on Claremont RD, Moss side isn't bad, the dresscode is quite Lax too, bullet proof vest optional apparently.
Also Brett, do you mean the one on Ashton old road, Openshaw.. Think i've driven past that
