Do any of you do any extra jobs outside of work to make some extra cash? Obviously people in trades could do little jobs on the side but as i'm not properly trained in anything thats out of the picture.
So what could i do to make some extra money? Aside from selling myself on the street obviously

I do a fair bit with stocks and shares but it can also lose you money.
Last Monday I spent £5100 on one trade and sold them about 48 hours later for £6134.
Then I have lost a few hundred quid on RBS this week.

Everywhere in my area has about 10 too many bar staff unfortunately!
And Limecat, sounds to me like you need a fair bit of money to buy the stuff in the first place

You don't have to but it helps for 2 reasons; 1) You need a smaller percentile increase to see a profit (ie. If paying £10 per trade and only buying £100 worth you need a 10% increase in order to be even but if buying £10k worth you only need a 0.1% increase.) and 2) Its best to spread in different sectors/earnings/speculators/short and long term etc.
The beauty is that the first £10200 per year are exempt from CGT.

You can do it online.
I use http://www.halifax.co.uk/sharedealing/share_dealing_home.asp for my shares ISA and http://www.h-l.co.uk/ for my others.
You will pay 0.5% stamp duty then whatever the trading fee is.

Cheers Fro! I posted in that when it was floating about, was looking into buying headphones in bulk and shifting them on ebay at £2 profit each, just have to hope they'd sell quickly. Only problem was that theres a whole lot of other people selling the same sort of item for the same price

I've wanted to get into valeting but i'm not sure i'm quite up to the standards ha, and everyone round here would rather pay £4 at the car wash and scratch their cars...
