Anyone ever done one before? Got all the prices for bits sorted, just not sure how easy it would be to do, had a search on Google for guides but didn't find anything, just a load of people on the Fiat forum telling them to take it to a garage

And seen as a lot of you on here like tackling stuff like this yourself, i thought this would be the best place to ask!

try it yourself, I did a zetec-se head gasket once and it was easy.

Well yeah i'll be doing it myself, just can't find anywhere with a guide or anything. I'll probably buy a 2nd hand Haynes manual off ebay, but wouldn't mind knowing if they're a pain in the arse beforehand

If there's rust or you break any bolts then it can become a pain.

Just make sure you have another vehicle ready to take you to your local motor spares in case of emergency.

Get a mate to help too.

Yeah, hopefully nothing will snap! This isn't my car, just one i've been offered that needs to work doing so i can make some pennies on this!
