Feel good knowing that it could help save a life! When i go back in 4 months i am going to give platelets (sp) aswell takes a couple of hours tho!!

Taking the plaster off and ripping hairs out is much worse than the needle lol!

Any one else donated?

Because they take blood all day u barely feel them insert the needle. Took 7 minutes to get the blood they needed and u get free biccies and crisps afterwards while u wait to go! w00t

Have still never given blood, I really should do, had my first ever blood test the other day and it took about 5 seconds, felt weird seeing a needle in my arm, but kinda made me want to give blood now that I know it's not painful!

Would like to know my blood type as well

My blood clotted half way through a donation. She tried altering the position of the needle while it was still in me, I didn't enjoy it one bit lmao.

I gave 2 weeks back then went out on the piss. The results were somewhat predictable.

Awesome night out on about £20 of booze!

Gave blood a few months back, only took about 5 minutes once wired up!

Have to agree with the plaster though, most painful part!

I felt exactly the same as I did before giving blood, no side effects what so ever, will be giving blood again as soon as I can

I'd love to do it. I'm not too bothered about needles either. How much do they take?
