Looks quite similar to a program i've got on my laptop, Virtual Dj.

Its quite intuitive. Never read the instructions, seen any tutorials, but I can mix a string of songs together.

I've seen "cdj" before but this is...it's pretty amazing for what it is but it jeopardises the jobs of thousands. Oh well, not my career

Emulator (http://www.smithsonmartin.com) has been around a while, it's just a simple touchscreen midi interface for Traktor. The panel is called Token (http://tokenexperience.com) but there isn't a lot of info about it, although i'm guessing it's project from underneath and there is a touchscreen film on the glass/plexi.

Looks cool though

Looks cool. I'll still prefer to use "real" decks however.

Its just software that has been available for last couple of years just on a touch screen! Most top Dj's use that software or Virtual Dj but either use a controller/mixer or a mouse.

It's a false arguement anyway, the easier it is the harder it is to be shit hot.

As said it can be pretty easy anyway, you could play a pre mixed cd out and pretend to mix if you were that way inclined.

a lot of skill learnt by dj's using physical decks/cd players can be taken away by one bit of software. i think its a good and bad thing, im glad i learnt the hard way but it would be nice to be able to record 100% perfect mixes everytime. im gonna grab a set of 1210 mk5g's and traktor scratch pro while its on offer until the end of the year...see what this digital shiz is all about 4 deck business
