Has anyone else noticed that insurance prices have rocketed?

Really had my heart set on a s2000 but they want 3k + even though iv been driving 3 years with 2yrs no claims

Quoting up cars now as i fancy something new and everything i want is 3k + again

But for some reason a focus mk1 is 2.3k. im actually considering one. its actually cheaper than me quoting a clio cup 03 which i had before.

What are peoples views on these cars? Pros Cons ?? you guys always know

ive been in one of those shape focus RS's and it was really nice to be in, dont know much about em to be honest there not common cars, as andykent said ^ 2300 aint really reasonable probably because its rare more chance of getting nicked in insurance companies eyes ?

S2000's are stupidly expensive to insure for some reason. I was looking at them before I got the M3 & it was going to cost more than the M3 was.

Mk1 RS's are nice but £2300 for insurance.....whit!

any insurance is a rip off unless your a blind senile old cunt with more chance of killing someone. its fucking stupid.

Old man fred goes to the shop and runs over a child and crashes into an apartment block and gets a £100 rise a year.

17-21 yr olds bump into the back of someone and they get raped for everything

Had two mates with Mk1 RS, lovely cars and don't think they had major problems just little niggles.

Wouldn't bother paying 2.3k to insure one, not worth it imo as that's nearly half the value of one.

Its 2.3k if paid off fully. Would be a good bit more if paid monthly.

Maybe insurers should modify their 'where is it kept over night' to include in a hedge then.
