Im 99% sure you can do this but i maybe wrong...
I bought my mum and dad £150 quids worth of vouchers for the above stores for christmas, and i dont think they will want them (after dropping hints)
So as not to waste them, i wonderd if i could return them for the cash back, and then give them £100 and pocket the £50?

Id just ask you to leave without anything
Seriously just phone their head office first and check. If their head office says thats fine then demand it instore. Tbh they are part of the Arcadia group (same as us BHS) but ive never come across that in my time as a manager. Should see it as an issue as long as you have a receipt
