a friend of mine has gave me a damaged copy of black ops (xbox got knocked over while playing and scratched disc)

hes now got another copy but said if i can get it repaired i can have it..

Go to Game, sure they do the disc doctor repairs for a fiver.

thanks man, the disc is mint bar one deepish scratch..

not sure how effective the disc doctor is..

Smear a banana over the disc for a minute then clean it, should work then.

The "tomato sauce method" worked for me. Cover the disc in the sauce, leave it for 10 minutes, then clean it off.

as said, tcut works wonders on a scrathced disc, also toothpaste does do a great job, the abrasives in both products will not damage the disc and you will have to rub hard to remove the scratch but that should your problem out,

I have done many discs this way, those disc repair machines game have are shite, they do not remove scratches unless they are barely visible in the first place.

Go to Game mate, £2.99 per disc or 3 for £5. I had 3 games done recently and they are mint now.

Forza wouldn't play Silverstone, COD MW2 wouldn't play but they are both perfect now and the discs are like new. Highly recommend it.

just tried the toothpaste method...
































made it even worse!

instead of just the one scratch the disc is now all misted with small scratches

will be taking it to game or similar when i go to town next..
