what are you thinking? its an old mans car with the worst colour seats i think i’ve ever seen! its the sort of thing a geography teacher would tell his mates ‘goes like a rocket’ and as said it doest even have any heritage, being a mondeo underneath...

You have no idea how hard it is to get parts for an X type, nothing suspension wise is the same as the standard Mondeo, it's all ST220 stuff, so it's Jaguar or Ford dealer only, no aftermarket alternatives.

Nice cars, but they have all the issues the Mondeo has (diesel injectors on the 2.0TDCi for example) and cost more to repair.

Cheap though.

Looks a nice car. A bit of a rare beast being manual. Could be a sod to sell in the future being manual, but to be fair it's cheap so you can't lose much on it.

I almost bought a 3.0 Sport, not too discimilar from an ST220 Mondeo, but decided i didnt want to continue with V6 fuel economy (was upgrading from an ST24).

Bought a Mondeo in the end.

mondeos are good cars.

yes jaguars are meant to be a league above but theres nothing wrong with the mondeo chassis.
