Anyone know of this? a colleugue of mine is getting it done, reckons it isn't even illegal as you own the sky box after a year? Sounds too good to be true. Anyone got any info on it

He obviously isn't very bright.
Last time I checked it was card sharing that did the trick.

Ive been told this can be done but not 100% if its true or not  Go with virgin media and you wont have any bother with chipping box's ect

No way to chip sky, card sharing is the only way as Noshua said.
Can't chip virgin media any more either so that's not very good advice, if your box is still working it won't be for long.
