I just bought 5 litres of 10W40 Semi for my 1.2 V8 Corsa, cost me a tenner - from Wilko!

just get some proper 10/40 gm oil, asda, supermarket cheap oil is shite simple as. ok to use if the cars burning it as its dirt cheap to keep topping up haha

wont be the same quality of oil, supermarket oil is cheap coz its crap no doubt about it lol

I use whatever 10-40 semi synthetic the local motor factors has in. Last time it was valvoline. Only paid £10 for 5 litres (Get my parts for cost price as I only work over the road from them!)

Castrol 10w40 Magnatec. Some sort of Car Plan gearbox oil would be fine probably.

retails around £60 for 5 litres, but can be had for around 45 if you search about, worth it imo

Best oil is the stuff recommended by the manufacturer which for a c20xe is GM 10w40 which costs about a tenner.
