trying to fit thermo in housing on C20xe. Am I just a weakling.......lol,but spring seems to be extremely stiff
it's been in before and is only 6 months old but try as I might I cannot push spring plate down and slide into housing!!!!!!
Any suggestions?

you don't need to push the spring in to fit it? It just sits in the housing then it's the three 6mm screws to tighten up.
