im going down the bike carb route on c20xe and wanted to see what people recommend as the better bike carb?

i was looking at the r1 carbs as the xe's ive seen mostly have them so they seem the choice to go for.

The carbs also have a TPS, it's because when you have electronic ignition it uses the throttle percentage (amongst other things) to calculate how much the timing should be advanced or retarded.

R1's seem to be a popular choice. You can buy a set second hand and have them re-built, jetted and a manifold all built up by the same guys all at once - Bogg Bros. - which seems convenient to me.

well ive already got a manifold on the way, ive seen loads on ebay and my mates got the drillbit to drill the jets.

just my main concern is the carb's

alot of the ads say "throttle bodies / carbs tps".

like Phillip2 said dont get bodies get carbs so im just abit confused as to where i stand if the title says tb/carbs :S

What is the benefit of using bike carbs instead of ones specifically designed for cars?

bike carbs give better mid range over webers/dells and as good as same peak power.
