When trying to put a c20let into my corsa I had a problem that was the front mount that goes from the gearbox to the chassis was too short by about an inch. Does anyone know if i can get a longer mount and where from?

ste what are you using 8v or 16v mount? what is the shell based on?

Im not sure which mount im using but the shell is based on an N reg sri 16v. The front mount from the gearbox that I got with the gearbox is about an inch too short so I was wondering whether there is another mount that I can bolt onto the gearbox that will fit

youll have to buy a conversion f28 mount from lmf or ebay there around £25-£30 mate

Do you know whether I will need the type 1 or type 2 mount?

wich way are you putting the mounts on? do drivers side and gearbox first then the rear mount, i had similer problem when doing mine

I did the drivers side, then went to do the front gearbox mount and it was the right height but wasnt close enough as there was about an inch gap if you know what i mean? What did you end up doing did you get a different mount?

no just did it the way i said and it was fine.
