my 7 year old corsa only dun 23000 miles and the clutch is bolloxed. In the vauxhall dealers now gettin fixed. I'm not lookin forward to the bill mind you. I took out a warranty but don't fink it will cover it cos they say it wear and tear. But i was thinking surely a clutch shouldn't go after 23,000 miles from wear and tear? Anyone got any convincing arguements to give to the warranty people?

my mate had a similar problem mate. im sorry to say the thing is they will reply and say its down to ur driving etc so i dont think there would be any come back on. in my experience anyway from vauxhall dealers they are not the most helpful people and try to rip u off all the time. sorry mate just thought i would be honest (i know it doesnt help you)

yer thats ok. i only dun 800miles since i bought it mind u. One bonus though is that the warranty is through a diff company, not vauxhall, so the dealers are not bothered eithe way. I pay them whatever, then i try n claim it back of the warranty people. But thanks for ur comments.

surely if u've only done 800 miles on it it can't be ur fault, can it??
although i doubt vaux will be very helpful
