ok i will either be getting 17's offset 45 or 16's et 40

dont go on about how 17's will look smarter etc i have 5 doors and therefor poxy rear arches.

Any size wheel same offset.
Get as close to 45mm offset with anysize wheel

YEAH BUT what would require most arch work et 40 on 16's or et 45 on 17's
for a 5 door

Get 17's mate and drop a sensible amount.
Mine rubs on big bumps with 2 in the back, thats -40mm on Apex springs which only lower about 30mm in reality.
1 rear passenger aint too much to sacrifice for the good looks is it?

i HAVE ORDERED THE APEX 40MM SUSPENSION KIT.

SO DOES IT RUB WITH 2 PEOPL IN THE BACK

You want as close to the standard 49mm offset as poss,not 45.
45mm is the minimum you should go if you dont want your car to tramline badly.
My mate has 15" 38mm offset on his corsa,they rub like hell,it tramlines BADLY,and handles like a dog!!

am thinking of getting the bk 222 in 45 offset in 17's, hop they dont cause to many rpoblems on my 5 door

My 16s have been a pain in the arse, et 42. Had to 'modify' the front inner wings with a large hammer and chop some off the plastic trim on the back.

i've got 17s with a 38 offset also lowered 40 all round but it did need a few mods to get em on but no rubbing (but also no back seats)
