Hey guys, Am getting a Mk4 polo ( hopefully ) Its got a few months tnt, but paint work is aweful, was just a run about, so dents everywhere! Was gonna smooth them in well try my best too, and paint it a matte colour.. I was gonna go for black.. But I've seen a baby blue colour, not sure if it matte tho? But if you could post your photos that be great

Don't. Just don't. It's been done to death now and not only is it highly un-original and dull, it shows a complete lack of imagination and looks shit.
Doing to it to a bleeding VW just makes it all even worse.

Tbh, your not going to get much advice on here other than its ScEnE, its wank etc...
End of the day, its your car so do what you want with it. I did my old van matt olive green and nearly everyone hated it, but I didn't do it for others to like.

You can make any colour you want matte - it's just a case of adding a matting agent to the lacquer iirc.
So why not go for something a bit different - matte / satin black is deffo overdone now.
Just be careful what you do choose as otherwise it just looks like badly oxidised / faded paint lol.

Not bothered, The car is solid, just the paint work is crap! It should be hopfully be a years free trouble motoring, so don't mind having fun with paint work!
