Yep most of my research is coming from Google but as the people of CS are mainly a similar demographic to myself, I thought I would see what people particularly enjoyed.

Take a walk in Central Park.
Take the free Staten Island ferry (take it back immediately, Staten Island fucking blows), which will take you past the Statue of Liberty and give an awesome view of Wallstreet.
Do NOT go up the Statue or Empire State, it's seriously overrated.
If you want a good view of the city go up the Chrysler Building.
Have a hotdog from both Nathans Originals on Coney Island aswell as a random streetcorner merchant.
Get Saltwater Toffees from Coney Island.
Get a donut and bagel from Rays Pizza in Saint Marks.

How on earth is the EmpireState over rated?!

It's a big tall building with an impressive view, not sure what else you expected?

It's over rated when people claim it's a "must see" in NYC, when in fact there are several other things that are vastly more impressive.

If you want a great view, go up the Rockefeller Center (and not the Chrysler Building as I just stated) as it's a much better view of the city.
