Changing a couple of standard light switches for dimmer switches. Where do i wire to, pictures to follow.

Standard Switch
Common / L1

Dimmer Switch
L1 / L2 / some weird symbol

Using the outer two connections will work fine. The symbol on the left is the common input and the other two are load outputs so you can use it to drive to loads. Either will work fine

Just make sure the wattage is ok if you are switching lots of spots etc

Just wire it up the same as your original one.

Read the instructions that came with the dimmer switch? It's not hard tbh.

Both switches didn't come with instructions.
