Its a 12 volt Corsa Club? Not a good basis for a cheap track car?

I'm assuming you would be looking at an engine transplant but so many considerably better/cheaper options out there for track cars.

Would be cracking with warrens engine and some proper suspension, like a little s1600 car (with a 1.8)

In a scenario like that, when applying for the logbook, does the previous owner not get a letter asking them if it's ok or whatever? What's stopping them coming just taking the car to be a cunt or refusing the logbook?

Not sure, guess they have grounds to sell so the DVLA are party to that. They may not consult the previous keeper in that case.

the fact it has a key and they dont know the mileage its obviously sat in their compound for 10 months or more due to the tax has run out it probably had some sort of alloy but theyve changed them for steels i wouldnt of paid that for it

Perfect for a ZLET conversion, iirc they use the same ECU.

its just a computer? the program inside can be changed to suit whatever if you have the right equipment
