Time for a service usually i use castrol magnetec but its kinda expensive compared to the unbranded products, do people stick with the brands or just get any i.e asdas own oil?

If it's a corsa get GM 10w40.

Whats the car?

I use halfords track day on cars that are going to get a pasting (it holds its viscosity) works out about £24 a gallon trade.. And the halfords or a comma 10w40ss on everything else.

It's only a 1.2 16v daily driver, i do a lot of motorway miles and a fair bit of town driving

10w40 semi from Halfords or any normal motorfactor will be more than sufficient.

Tesco have Castrol on offer at the minute, 4 litres for £16.

My mates Dad just got me 5 litres for the Corsa for free

i couldnt change the oil, the previous owner has rounded my sump nut its one that usually has a torx inside but its not rounded any ideas to help me get it off?

Why get Corsa oil if you have an Impreza and a Civic?
