Was just out in norwich, at toys r us.
Came out of the store and put our stuff in the car. The missus decided that she wanted to go into tk maxx next door.
As we walked over to the store, 3 men stood outside, looked like they was together. Then 2 split one in each direction, and this other guy stood their staring into the car park, like he was watching out for something.
Didnt really think much of it, but both me and the missus said they look dodgy as hell.
Came out of the store, and they were all gone. Walked back to the car. As we approached the car, this guy who was staring into the car park earlier was looking at us, walking between a couple of cars about 4 cars away. We got in car, and as i thought it was dodgy i locked the doors straight away.
All of a sudden this guys banging on my missus window telling her to open it. Wasnt like manic like he was trying to be quick etc. Just casual.
I completly ignored him and backed out of the space. He just walked off.
I cant get it out of my fucking head what could have happened. But something felt completly wrong. Was he just after some help, or was he a cunting wank stain??

But what i dont get is why did he just like walk off, when i ignored him.
If he was needing somehelp, or didnt have nothing to hide, wouldnt he have been like hang on a sec and dived out of the way of my mirror etc??

He may have wanted to rape your misses.
Can you post pics of the misses so we can decide ourselves?
You could have attempted rape on your hands

Also, for him to get to where he was, from where we first saw him. He would have had to walk right to the edge of the car park along a road and back up towards the shops. Not something id imagine he would need to do etc.
Also, the lights were all out in the car park, so it was very dark.
He also banged on the window with his right hand. His left hand was behind his back. That is an un orthodox way to bang on a window in my opinion. Hard to imagine i know

Yep you did the right thing. When I was learning to drive I was parked up at Slough station with my mum as we were collecting my brother late at night.
An ethnically challenged guy tapped on the window. I opened it and he pulled the lock up and tried opening the door saying get out and let me have a drive.
I pooped my pants and drove off.
I was in my bad boy nova

I'd say you defo did the right thing. If he needed a hand he'd have found someone else. I think he had an eye on your shopping or even your car.

Shopping wasnt worth stealing. 6 baby bottles and a pack of baby wipes. Neither of which were in a bag, so could be seen.
Thinking it was defo the right thing to do, and glad i was vigilant.
What scares me most, is how completely unaware of the situation my missus was. Id clocked him from 50 yards, and knew something was wrong. She didnt have a clue, and was ready to open the window, till i said no!

Sounds to me as if he was about to take the car, it happened to me earlier in the year...I was parked up outside a local shop, baring in mind I live in a small village with hardly any crime, the type of place that the morning food deliveries get left outside the shop if it isnt open. I'm sat there having a cig and this lad strolls over, I thought he wanted a light so I opened the door and he put a bottle to my face and told me to get out the car. You just can't be too carefull these days, my doors get locked where ever I go now.

I think if he was gonna go for the car, he would have come to my window. Especially as there was no car parked my side.
I cant get my head around what his plans were.
I can 99% say it was dodgy. My gut feeling is, he possibly had a knife and was going to put it to my missus, and ask for phones/wallets etc.
Seems the only thing that could have come of it in my head anyway

Maybe he clocked you clocking him but not your missus so thought he'd go for the easy target to get you to hand over the car, scary shit

Yea fair play Dan the way i look at it is most people who saw someone waving a breaker bar at them would more than likely think they had picked a complete nutter to try and mess with.
Also i would report it to the police even though they will not do much, it could prevent it happining to another couple who may have a worse end result.
Glad ur both okay though
