My brother is turning 30 in May, i'm wanting to get him a pretty special present, but absolutely no idea what!

He's the kind of person thats got everything, and doesnt need anything, really hard to buy for!

So what have you had in the past, that made you think it was awesome?

If you can't think of anything, what could I get him?

I know its May, but as sales are on, i'm thinking I could save a few bob, whether its a really nice watch, or similar.

This was my first idea, then I was thinking maybe it would be better if he could have something to keep if you get me? I dunno.

Christ, more money than you know what to do with

Get something cheaper but unexpected rather than just splashing a wedge which he could already do himself.

I would maybe look at getting a birthyear watch.

Depending on what year he was born in we will see what we can find....

Otherwise for a grand you can pickup a few fairly nice watches.

Looks like all the 1981 watches look GASH or are far too expensive

Does he currently have any nice watches?

Maybe get something pre-owned like:

Would prefer a more premium brand watch that is near mint with boxes and papers than a brand new quartz watch.

Can't get a nice example of the common brands like Breitling, Omega, Rolex etc etc at that price point but you can get some amazing watches that are not household names.
