Well all I knew about the 'Zed' was what I'd heard on the good ole Internetz, we have an 07 plate one in work at the moment...

GT spec and only 30K on the clock in black

I'd been looking at it all week waiting for a chance to take it for a blast, so yesterday off I went. From what I'd heard they weren't much of a 0-60 car and only quick on the move... Well fuck me I loved it

As soon as I started it up it made my spine tingle the sound is just immense! Whacked the heated seats on and got the perfect driving position on the seats with all the electric adjustment and then moved off.

First impressions is that it's a proper mans car!! Heavyish clutch and stiff but short gear change. Were our place is there is a mad roundabout were winner takes all etc so I blasted off...Fffffuuuucccckkk it may be that I haven't owned a fast car for a while but boy it felt quick! Handling was great and the brembos although great I felt were only just up to the job. The car to me felt like it was really heavy from the ground up ie the wheels felt big and the engine heavy but the 'Shell' felt light and dare I say a bit cheap feeling must just be light steel to save weight.

It didn't feel like a V6 as my Audi is quick but lazy and the Z is proper rev hungry!

All in all very impressed and would love one is it wrong to feel like drifting it at every roundabout though??

i love mine , bin out for a new year drive down the cat and fiddle road and tbh its epic although im still scared to push it as i know it will bite my hand of the second it gets a chance .

I know what you mean about heavy though swapping between the zed and the ibiza is literally one extreme to the other .

powerwise again not sure if its because im used to the ibiza but the to me it does feel like it could be a 0-60 car although power does seem to lack a bit in the middle or so it felt just on hte way home from the gfs, however low down and top end =

Although later ones got 313bhp iirc

Have they fixed the super cheapo nasty interior on the later ones? Headlights on the end of the indicator stalk used to cause me far more moments than I would have liked

you always seem to rave about cars the first time you drive them then end up changing your mind and slating them after a time of owning it

the 350z is a manly car though, you can't deny it.

i reckon if you put george michael in one, he would instantly become heterosexual.

Really, you reckon? I do like them, but it's something like my mum would have being honest.
