For anyone who doesn't know, Tim Ferriss is an american who wrote a book called 'the 4 hour work week' explaining how to live life to the full and streamline your 'work' so that you only work 4 hours a week. It was a new york times best seller and a good book to read.

Anyway, he's just released his new book 'The 4 hour body'. He's been claiming for years to test things on himself, including hooking up a glucose monitor to his own body to find out how different foods affected his glucose levels.

I was reading this book the other day and it started off very slow, infact the first part was just telling about an 'Atkins' style low carb diet and I was about to give up on the book, until I got past that chapter.

The rest of fat loss / muscle gain section speaks about a range of supplements which he takes that seem extremely interesting. In one section he claims to gain 34 lbs of lean muscle in 28 days

This is the supplication that he said got him the best results:

Morning: Nitric Oxide product ( 2 scoops ) , niacinamide 500mg
Each Meal: Chromium polynicotinate 200mcg , ALA 200mg
Pre WO: (body quick) 2 capsules 30 min prior
Post WO: 30 g Micellar casein protein
Prior to Bed: policosanol 23 mg , chromemate 200 mcg , ALA 200 mg , niacinamide 500 mg

Also he mentions Cissus Quadrangularis seems to be an awesome drug which speeds up muscle recovery / growth while reducing fat (actually kills the fat cells off).

It's a good read overall ... just wondering if anyone else has read it?

If anyone wants an ebook or pdf version to have a quick read, I can email it to you.
