I skimmed the article in the paper the other day. Don't 100% understand it as I'm not a l33t haxx0r but I was thinking the other day how powerful the Internet is as a creation. So wonder how long it will take before some power/control thing comes in with governments or businesses.

Yeah, tbh its been taken for granted and the days of 'internet freedom' will soon be long gone. If you want to watch a youtube video you'll have to pay extra to your ISP etc.

As with everything though, there will be ways around it but thats not the principle.

somehting along those lines anyway, same thing we are doign alonmg with other major mobile firms in charging tiered pricing for different levels of service

Far from it. I just want to be able to do my daily internet browsing without having to pay to view certian websites. I already pay enough for a piss poor service as it is.
