I might have to take the megane before i sell it. Have been for the last 2 years, but cant see myself going this year as too many people are 'game', then when it comes to actually stumping up with the cash/taking their car etc, it totally changes!

Basically they've racked up 350 million euro debt against the nurburgring by building that 'euro disney' park - and it's put the whole place in jeopardy.

It's half true half the usual winter bullshit. Aston Martin, Pirelli and Mercedes have pulled out of industry pool this year which is good and bad. Good because lots more TF but bad as prices will go up.

Yeah but did you hear about all the debt they have racked up against 'the nurburgring' - giving false numbers of yearly visitors to encourage development of theme parks / hotels and making it seem like it was all from 'private investment' ... but infact now, it's 350 million euros of debt on german public money.
So basically the ring itself could be shut or the prices hiked considerably.

Theres been alot of shit flying about Paul but it always seems to go mental around Winter but best to ignore it all until something concrete comes up. Soon as the dates are out I'll be booking up my first visit.

they wont shut it, as they have to make money to pay off the debt, the track is still government owned, they lease it to lindner(the guy who’s idea the casino etc was) but he’s seemingly not a fan of motrosport and wants to make it more theme park like, but that wont earn money so i cant see it happening, it will just push the prices up imo, which while its not great, might also make it a bit quieter like it used to be
