So I'm having an operation tomorrow on a hernia, and I'm pretty nervous tbh and I'm really not good with things like this....

Anyone else had one, please tell me it's not bad lol..

That is all, thanks

You might be alright but i went in for a hernia op last year and the pain was something else, could barely walk for the first week or two. But good luck though

I had one three years back, was over in seconds (well it felt like that with the anaesthetic), pretty easy going, will feel all the better for it after!

Only good bit about my op was being given morphine. That and the ridiculous amount of hot lasses in the hospital, even the one that gave me toast/tea and looked at my tackle

Nothing to worry about, you get put to sleep..you open your eyes again it's all over. I felt fantastic when I woke up high on the drugs. Rang my dad, laughing and joking about what a nice day I'd had...then the drugs wore off and I was in pain for days.

I had mines 3 monts ago. Was in agony for a couple weeks after. Then i stood up to quick and had pain for about a month after that.
I still feel it now and again, wish i didn't get it done.
Got told I'd be fine to go back to work 2 weeks later, ended up being off for about 9weeks and i still struggled.

I've had a hernia for the last 3 years. I can't be fucked with the op and the recovery time so I keep putting it off. Every time it pops out i just push it back in.
Job done!
